Speaking of the summer concert series, it continues on the lawn of the Clayton Huey Elementary School from 7 to 9 p.m. Bring a lawn chair and some snacks and enjoy. August dates include Aug. 12 with Chain Reaction Band and Aug. 26 with High Tide.

Upcoming events include the VFW’s Be a Hero Blood Drive on Aug. 7 from 1:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the VFW, located at 437 Main Street, Center Moriches.
Also, Center Moriches has two new restaurants, Sunsets at Senix on Senix Avenue & ITA Kitchen on Atlantic Avenue.
