‘An Apple a Day’ by Amy Nicole

Posted

Local author Amy Nicole has recently released her children’s book “An Apple a Day,” published by Pegasus. The book is her third published book. It can be found in paperback for $10.99 worldwide in the children’s fiction section with an ISBN number 9781838758257.

“'An Apple a Day' holds a special place for me not only to see the book come to life after so many years, but in that it’s my first international publication,” Amy Nicole said. “The production process working with the illustrators at Pegasus Publishers was incredible.  To see the story come to life sketch by sketch from black and white to such vibrant colors all from the story I wrote was truly inspiring.”

What influences her to write? Her biggest influences to write at an early age started out with being out in nature and spending time with animals.

“Growing up in the Adirondack Mountains in the ‘80s and early ‘90s I spent most of my time being entertained by outdoors, music, reading, writing and watching movies,” she said. “Today, all remains the same, even though my list of inspirations have grown spending the last 25 years living on Long Island.”

Aside from writing children’s books, her other works are heavily inspired by telling stories that have purpose to make people feel good, help others and inspire.

About the book
