We just love October at Helping Makes U Happy!
First up is our annual Free Halloween Costume Giveaway, which will be held on Saturday, Oct. 7 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Brookhaven Fire Department’s Fire Prevention Open House, at 10 Camp Upton Road in Shirley (the building behind and across from Zwanger-Pesiri).
In addition to the 200 or so costumes we have for you to choose from, you’ll be able to see live fire demonstrations, vehicle extrication, and there’ll be giveaways, refreshments, and more! We are looking forward to enjoying the Fall Festival on Oct. 15 put on by the Moriches Chamber of Commerce, and of course, Keith’s Mega Auction for Helping Makes U Happy on Oct. 21, beginning at 3 p.m. in the Center Moriches High School gym.
It’s Keith’s most favorite event of the year—he’s been working on it for months and months, and has the most amazing prizes (some of which are pictured)! The event is only $10 admission, which includes 25 tickets, plenty of seating, food for purchase from Chubs, music by DJ Jay Legend—it’s a great afternoon/evening of raising funds to help families in local communities and we hope you’ll join us!
Finally, there’s Keith’s birthday—Halloween! If you happen to see him that day, please make sure to wish him a Happy Birthday—he’ll love it!
