Folkie Fest expands through July

The Moriches Community Center will be hosting their annual Folkie Fest as an ongoing concert series with local acoustic artists. The event started in February with Heart Songs and will now continue into March 20, with Women of Song celebrating Women’s History Month. Additional dates include April 3 with Songs of the Earth; May 15, String Fling; and July 17, Song Sung Blue. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Community Center to fund their programs. Also, a 50/50 raffle will be held to benefit Long Island Cares..
