Welcome to the new Robertaccio

Former funeral home transformed new

Stanley Savicki and his son David, CEO funeral directors and owners of Robertaccio Funeral Home in Patchogue, are proud to welcome the community to their newly space at the former Wesche Funeral Home in Center Moriches.

“It’s a great town. The people are great and the property is great,” David said of acquiring the property. “It just needed a whole update.”

Since purchasing the building, in April of 2019, from the former owner that has since retired, David said that the building has been fully renovated, including an expanded parking lot, improved handicapped accessibility and new bathrooms.

The site now also features fresh paint, new furniture, and TVs for tributes. As you walk in, there is a large and expanded entrance foyer, accompanied by two chapels for gatherings, one of which can be closed off for smaller, more intimate receptions.

“We kept the fireplaces and blended the old with the new,” he said, proud of the work done. “The siding is all brand new, too.”

For over 120 years, Robertaccio has been helping families find a final resting place for their loved ones. Despite the changes, the funeral home owners promise to maintain their service as the most affordable choice.

“Most people think all funeral homes are the same, but that is not really not the case,” David said. “We provide exceptional service and personal care.”

All the funeral services, he added, are done in-house, with an extensive staff with seven licensed funeral directors and five additional family care associates.

“Ever since we opened our doors, we have approached life [and death] differently,” Stanley added of the close-knit community. “While some just see the end of a loved one’s life as a time for grief and mourning, we prefer to think of it as a time for reflection, appreciation and even celebration. This is evident in everything we do—from the way we conduct our services, to the amenities we choose to offer.”
