On Saturday, April 5, community members and constituents of Congressman Andrew Garbarino protested in Patchogue in front of and near his official office on Oak Street.
Crowd estimates were 2,000 attendees for the nationwide protest “Hands Off!”
The protest was aimed towards President Donald Trump and policies under him and D.O.G.E. leader, Elon Musk.
Garbarino said, “I always appreciate hearing from my constituents about the issues that matter most to them. Just last night, I was glad to host more than 10,000 constituents on a live telephone town hall where I answered questions on many of the topics that are top of mind for Long Islanders, provided updates on my work in Congress, and shared helpful resources. My focus remains on delivering results for New York’s 2nd District and being a strong voice for my constituents in Washington.”
