The cutest parade in town stopped by Brightwaters for its Halloween visit. The annual Brightwaters Ragamuffin Parade kicked off on Windsor Avenue, bringing with it entertainment and fun.
Led by the Bay Shore Fire Department band, the parade had festive music and colorful costumes in true Halloween spirit. Treats and snacks were handed out for early trick-or-treating fun. DJ Tommy Cerino had hauntingly good tunes to accompany the day’s activities.
The local tennis courts transformed into a spooky lair for all to enter and be amazed. Mayor John Valdini was the key organizer for the area, allowing the display to come to life in time for the parade. Many other local volunteers contributed their time and effort to decorations and setup, and the Brightwaters Department of Public Works also gave a major helping hand in this endeavor.
Families were eager to see the effort and details, big and small, put into this year’s Ragamuffin Parade. Excitement was in the air as little ones lined up to receive goodies.
The Brightwaters community had an all-around spooktacular outing, with neighbors pouring into Wohseepee Park as the day progressed.
