The Anthony Parlato Memorial race and another Folkie Fest

The Moriches Community Center will be hosting another Folkie Fest on Sunday, May 15. The 12-String Fling will take place from 2 to 5 p.m., with artists performing original works with a bit of jangle. There will be performances from Kerry Kearney, Gene Casey, Connie Rae, Peter Hansen and Phil Kennelty. Tickets are $15 in advance at morichescommunitycenter.org or $20 at the door. Also, the annual Anthony Parlato Memorial 5K race is set for Saturday, June 4.
