STUDENTS OF THE MONTH

For March, the Moriches Chamber honored Kaley Maxwell as the student of the month. Maxwell has been on the varsity girls lacrosse and tennis teams for the past three years while maintaining a GPA of 4.0. She is in several honor societies as well as DECA and Key Club. She will be studying criminal justice at the University of Bridgeport and will continue her athletic career in lacrosse.

A look back on past students of the month:

Back in November, they chose Meghan Bukowski, a senior at Center Moriches High School. She is committed to SUNY Oswego in the fall with a major in zoology.  She is a varsity tennis player and is on the varsity flag football team.  She is also a member of the National Honor Societies and is on the Principal’s Honor Roll.

And, last October, the Moriches Chamber of Commerce’s student of the month was Abigail Schaming, a senior at Center Moriches High School.  She is committed to SUNY Oswego in the fall with a major in marketing.  She is the president of the DECA club, a varsity tennis player, a member of the National Honor Societies, and is on the Principal’s Honor Roll.
