Spring has sprung

And we couldn’t be happier!

The Easter Bunny is hard at work, and we are so very grateful for our Easter Bunny helpers, Avarie Baryk and Autumn Ambrose, who did an amazing collection for the Easter baskets we provide to families referred to us!  

April is also the month that we will be hosting our HMUH community yard sale, which will raise funds not only for the Summer of Feeding Families, but also for a very special project we are working on, soon to be announced.  

The community yard sale is planned for April 29 (rain date April 30) at 1 Neville Street, Center Moriches, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you are spring cleaning and have items you wish to donate, please contact us at 631-848-9008. Please, no baby items, clothing, books and magazines, large furniture, or electronics such as TVs, printers, etc.  

We will also be doing our annual Mother’s Day raffle of an awesome gift for the mom figure in your life. Raffle sales will begin April 17 and the winner will be drawn at the end of the yard sale. For more information on the raffle, please contact us at the previously mentioned number.
