The Sunflower Festival is now open!

The flower maze is mostly for admiration, with only selected dates open for you-pick announced on their website. Admission is $15 for entry; kids 2 and under are free.

“It’s one of our most popular events,” said owner Mark Weiss. “Our customers love seeing the thousands of flowers in bloom at one time. We love seeing the families come out and enjoy the summer.”

The farm is also now open for sunset hours on Saturday and Sundays for photography. The sunflowers are expected to remain in bloom through September.

The farm has about 15 acres open to the public but sits on a larger 70 acres, including flower fields. According to Weiss, the farm is currently growing sweet corn for late-summer and fall roasting.

The farm also boasts tons of activities for the kids, including a large play set, photo ops, barnyard animals, mini-golf holes and bouncy pads. This is the place to go for photo ops with tons of idle vintage cars, a windmill, and other cute spots. The farm is also pet-friendly and has food trucks on site for refreshments.

Waterdrinker Family Farm is located at 663 Wading River Road in Manorville.
