Looking ahead and planning to grow

Greetings everyone!

I hope you’re all thinking about spring and keeping warm.  Though I am not fond of the cold weather, I like this time of the year because I’m looking ahead and planning to grow some different flowers in my garden as well as some favorites that I know will add color and interest.

The first meeting of the Garden Club is March 20, at the Center Moriches Library.  Roxanne Zimmer, from Cornell Cooperative Extension, will be talking to us about lawn alternatives.  This is a topic that many gardeners are interested in and Roxanne will educate us with her presentation.
