Great Gun to host memorial striped bass tournament

The Great Gun Moriches Anglers will be hosting their 17th annual Casey Mehlinger Memorial Striped Bass Tournament. The dates will be from Wednesday, Nov. 6 through noon on Sunday, Nov. 10. There will also be a barbecue and awards at noon on Nov. 10 at Harts Cove Bait and Tackle. Awards will be given to first, second, and third place, based on the heaviest fish within New York State slot limit of 28 to 31 inches. There is also a $60 entry fee per angler. Captains meeting will take place on Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. at the Rock Hill Country Club in Manorville. There will also be a 50/50 raffle.
