Ocean Spa Beauty & Wellness is completely sea-inspired beauty.

The sea, according to sisters and co-owners Stacy Krey, L.M.T, and Virginia White, L.E., contains natural minerals and healing properties that help skin repair damage, destroy bacteria, hydrate, and minimize skin pigmentation. Everything used at the spa are marine-based products, including their signature Marine Immersion massage package.

The spa, located at 369 Montauk Highway in East Moriches, has been delivering sea-inspired massage and skincare treatments since 2015. Together, Krey and White have over 20 years of experience in the spa industry and have built an exceptional team of licensed professionals to assist you on your journey to beauty, health, and wellness.

In addition to facials and massages, they also offer laser treatments, waxing, reset sessions, and lashes and brows. A special relaxation room is also available for spa parties as well as yoga and Reiki special events.

For my sparkling-soft skin, I thank Virginia

The spa itself is beautiful, clean, and serene. Virginia, my esthetician for the day, booked me for a brightening facial, but had tailored my services to the needs of my skin.

First, she consulted with me about my skin issues—including redness and slight rosacea. She then opted for some gentler products to keep my skin from flaring.

She was gentle and calm, the perfect combination for the most luxurious facial. Even moments of what you might think would cause “pleasant discomfort”—it was just the opposite. Her extractions were minimal and completely pain free after utilizing a warming melt eliminating the need to “go hard” on pulling out imperfections. However gentle the process, the clarity of my skin leaving did not lack.

Additionally, she used a large, gritty scrub to exfoliate. The facial massage combined with the scrub was, admittedly, the best part. Though it was only her fingers paired with the scrub, it felt as though some magical tool was being used for complete bliss.

Everything about her facial was soft, from the silky oily cleanser to the ending scalp and shoulder and neck massage. The session also featured a light steam and was overall subtly fragrant. I also noticed a few products she used were citrus, which was a scent I listed as my favorite—making the experience ever more custom.

At the end, she topped me off with a brightening serum and tinted moisturizer with SPF—being that I was headed to an event following my session. I left with brighter skin than I had ever had before—with dewy skin and perfect lips.

Before leaving, I was seated in the relaxation room with a warm neck wrap and some Fiji water, the perfect pairing to a wonderful session, feeling welcome and invited to continue to relax rather than rushed out of the place.

Will I be returning? Most definitely. And I highly recommend not only the spa in general, but a session with Virginia as well. Also, upon returning, I have full intention on purchasing a few of the products for home use.
