Fall happenings this October

This fall, the Chamber of the Moriches has prepared with events sure to please every tricker and treater.

Fall Fest, Oct. 17

The fair will be held on Oct. 17 with a closed off Main Street in Center Moriches from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with sales, street vendors, food truck, ice cream and library events. For those interested in becoming a vendor visit: https://moricheschamber.org/product/fall-fair-vendor-registration/.

Full Moon Halloween Dance, Oct. 30

The event will be hosted by the VFW Post 414 from 7 to 11 p.m. Eventgoers are encouraged to gather up their dead and come out to have a howling good time. The event includes dinner and dessert as well as beer, wine and soda. There will also be a D.J., 50/50 raffle, and prizes for the best costumes, most creative and best couple. Tickets are $45 or $50 at the door.

March of the Goblins, Oct. 31

The trick-or-treat event will be held for the children of the community, to provide a safe environment to get candy along Main Street. Businesses along Main Street are welcomed and encouraged to have candy for the children.

The event will be held on Main Street in Center Moriches from 2-4 p.m.

Spooky Walk, Oct. 15, 16, 22 & 23 at Camp Paquatuck

The Spooky Walk will be held outside only for the safety of the volunteers and guests. Masks are mandatory throughout the entire duration of the walk. The walk will be open from 7- 9 p.m. at 2 Chet Swezey Road in Center Moriches. All proceeds will benefit Camp Paquatuck, a special camp for children with disabilities.
