The Rotary Club of Patchogue will be hosting their annual Irish Wake fundraiser on March 13 at the Bellport Country Club. Rotarians and community members will join together to recognize the honorees.
This year’s event will include the “eulogies” of the very live and well Jayme Bonanno and Dave Johnson of the Tap Room and congressman Andrew Garbarino, NY02.
Those who join will be invited to dine on fine Irish fare and are encouraged to tell stories and personal sentiments about the honorees, all while celebrating them with drinks in hand.
“In true Irish style, their lives will be celebrated, and merriment will be the theme of the evening,” event organizers said.
This event has raised well over $100,000 since its inception 10 years ago, and all proceeds are donated back into the greater Patchogue community.
The event is open to the public, but reservations are required. Tickets are $150 or $1,250 for a table of 10.
Please RSVP to Stephanie Barry at sbarry@theresourcegroupinc.net or by calling 631-981-4364. Credit cards accepted online at www.patchoguerotary.org or over the phone.
Checks to be made payable to the Patchogue Community Service Foundation and mailed to The Resource Group, 4250 Veterans Memorial Highway, Suite 104E, Holbrook, NY 11741.
