Connetquot comes together for homecoming

Connetquot High School welcomed students, families, alumni and community members for its annual homecoming celebration on Oct. 23.

After a week of themed spirit days, Connetquot High School students closed out the school day on Friday with a high-energy pep rally before the celebration moved outdoors for the annual homecoming parade. This year’s Disney theme inspired colorful and creative floats along the parade route.

The festivities continued on the football field that evening, where the Connetquot varsity football team faced Riverhead High School. Connetquot earned a dominant 42-6 victory in front of fans in “the birdcage,” capping off a memorable day.
