The weather was frightful, but the festivities were delightful. The turnout was great for the Bay Gardens Christmas fundraiser on Saturday, Dec. 11 to benefit a local police officer, Tim Thrane, who was injured in the line of duty last month.
He was actually feeling well enough to attend the event for a short while! It was amazing to see him laughing and enjoying Santa with his family and friends. The day was filled with happy families excited to ride the Christmas tractor, take pictures with the Grinch and Santa, play games, or just relax by the fire pit. Westhampton Beach Brewery and Geenas Weenas were in attendance as well, with plenty of Christmas cheer. The toy drive for Helping Makes U Happy was also a great success
