Camp Zoo is back!

Posted

The Long Island Game Farm’s summer program is designed to introduce and immerse young children (ages 5-10) in nature through outdoor exploration, games, crafts, and other educational activities. Campers will learn about the natural world around them through unforgettable experiences including age-appropriate, hands-on activities, up-close animal experiences, time to explore the park, and tons of educational fun that builds on campers’ love of animals and nature. This year, Shannon Swanson will serve as Camp Zoo director. She has taught at the Ross School and currently is an educator at the Peconic Community School in Aquebogue. Camp Zoo will provide opportunities for children to learn about animals and the natural world in a safe environment that will leave lasting impressions.

Camp Zoo is for children ages 5-10. It runs three hours per day (9 a.m. - noon) and is $200 for each three-day session. Campers can sign up for multiple sessions throughout the summer.
