Visiting Waterdrinker Family Farms just makes you feel good.
It’s a special place where you are thrown back to a simpler time. Worries fade and you can enjoy genuine time with your family.
With plenty to do, we visited Waterdrinker for their Winter Wonderland—where we were able to experience barnyard animals upon arrival. As we went deeper into the farm, we saw twinkling lights, decorated playhouses for the kids, the airstream Christmas village, and grinches lair. Stopping along the way we played mini-golf, bounced on the bounce pads and even took a ride on some swings. There was even synthetic ice skating, a crowd pleaser, and s’mores and hot cocoa by the fire—which were lit by endearing farm workers.
Also, a mother’s dream, with plenty of spaces for photo opportunities fun enough kids actually want to stop. But the cherry on top was seeing a special visit from Santa, his helpers, Cindy Lou Who, the Grinch and even a gingerbread man.
Then, on the way out, we were able to pick our own tree, a beautiful live Fraser Fir. It beautifully lived far past Christmas and was the perfect shape.
Waterdrinker’s Winter Wonderland took place through Dec. 23. Though, it might be over, one thing is for sure, we will be back in the spring for the Tulip Festival.
