The 5k Run/Walk to support women veterans will take place on Saturday, Oct. 9 at 9 a.m. at Shorefront Park in Patchogue. The run will take place on a flat track for training or walking along the water. T-shirts, medals and swag will be available, as well as refreshments and raffles. The event is $30 per preregistered adult, $15 per children or veteran, or $30 for day; $45 for virtual run.
