The Chamber of Commerce of the Moriches has announced their summer movie/concert lineup for this summer. The events will take place at St John the Evangelist, 25 Ocean Avenue in Center Moriches. The parking lot will be open for cars to park and view a movie or a concert.
The launch date for the series is Friday, July 10, and will follow every Friday thereafter. There will be a live concert on the last Friday of July and August. Parking for the event will begin at 7 p.m. and will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The event is free, but the chamber is asking that patrons bring a nonperishable food item to be donated into the pantry.
“This is a free event for our families in the Moriches area,” said Julie Pike, president of the Chamber of Commerce.
