Center Moriches Memorial Day parade and ceremony

A Memorial Day parade through Center Moriches was held on May 29, culminating in a ceremony at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. The parade featured local organizations such as Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 414 and the Center Moriches Fire Department. The Center Moriches High School Band and other groups involved with education also participated in the parade. Prayers for the deceased were offered during the concluding ceremony at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, and attendees were invited to place American flags in front of veterans’ graves.
